I have fallen in love with Amy Tangerine goodies this year, but was collecting rather than creating, because I just didn’t know what I actually wanted to do with the daybooks lol I came across an awesome FB group (courtesy of Amy’s blog), called Daybook Delights. There are just so many cool ideas floating around that I took the plunge and finally completed my first daybook. It was so much fun, and came together so quickly, that I can see me making a bunch of these for sure!
I made a little vid to share here, because it seemed better than a long post with a ton of pics lol So if you’d like to see what I did with Amy’s gorgeous Sketchbook range, check it out!
I apologise for prattling on, but really, it’s just a part of who I am lol If you’re a daybooker, be sure to hook me up to your blog, projects or vids – I’m a nosey rosey and love to check them out!
Til next time!

I spent a few hours in my studio last night and it was wonderful to create just for me! I remembered to turn on the camera too, so now I have a little video to share with you guys!
Materials used: canvas, gesso, acrylics, stamps, book text, crafters workshop stencil, vintage plastic doily, liquitex modelling paste, rubons, distress inks and pilot permaballl pen.
Happy arting!

I have another peek behind the art journalling scenes for you today, but first I have some news to share!
That’s right, my digi design business now has a new home – Scrap Orchard! The orchard was the first digi scrap site I ever joined, and to now be selling there is just a dream come true. And to top it off, not only will you be able to find my digi scrap designs there, you’ll soon be able to take part in online mixed media workshops – taught by me! I am beyond thrilled at the chance to do this so stay tuned for details of my first class, coming soon!
But for now, enjoy a peek behind the scenes as I create my page for this weeks Art Squared prompt.
PLEASE NOTE
The audioswap feature has gone a little haywire – there’s meant to be some boppy fun music but all I’m hearing is the noise of me creating. Sorry guys!
I should mention also, that after I had turned off the camera, I took a minute or so to rub away more of the glue design. This worked as a super easy resist technique, so when the glue was rubbed away, I was left with great grungey circles. Love how it worked out!
I’m off to the studio now to get messy and covered in paint. Hope you have fun and get a little creative yourself!
Happy arting!

It’s time for a new Art Squared prompt, and this week I have recorded the process while I created!
Head over to the blog to see Samara’s sample too! And don’t forget, we’d love you to play along, so be sure to link us up to your creations!
Happy crafting!

It’s no secret that I love to watch artsy videos. It can be so inspiring to see how others work, their techniques and process. After thinking on it for awhile, I finally decided to give it a go myself. So I hit record today whilst I created the page below.
I should warn that it’s not a high quality video – just a simple recording via webcam, so don’t expect any fancy oscar worthy footage. I‘m excited yet nervous to share it with you all, so be gentle, k? hehe
My apologies if the music is cruddy – I’m trying to change it and not having a lot of luck!
Well, hopefully you enjoyed the video and have maybe even been inspired to create something! I’m off now to watch trashy tv with my man.
Happy crafting!
