It’s no secret that I love to watch artsy videos. It can be so inspiring to see how others work, their techniques and process. After thinking on it for awhile, I finally decided to give it a go myself. So I hit record today whilst I created the page below.
I should warn that it’s not a high quality video – just a simple recording via webcam, so don’t expect any fancy oscar worthy footage. I‘m excited yet nervous to share it with you all, so be gentle, k? hehe
My apologies if the music is cruddy – I’m trying to change it and not having a lot of luck!

These framed jewelry holders seem to be cropping up everywhere lately, in so many different styles and I think it’s about time i made one! I stumbled across this tutorial which seems super easy to follow, so I think I’m going to give it a go!

Well, I’d prefer a holiday but since it’s not on the books, I decided to go for a little change around this much neglected blog. I’ve updated the whole thing, including my little badge over there in sidebar. So if you’re currently sporting it on your blog, I’d love it if you could update it! And if you’re not already sporting it…well…whaddya waiting for? hehehe
It’s school holidays here in Australia, so my days have been filled with mum duties, leaving very little time for anything else. I have managed to fit in a lot of tv time though, once the kids are down for the night. I’m somewhat obsessed with Sons of Anarchy. I will admit, some of the show makes me angry, but my word, the eye candy makes up for it!!

Oh and I nearly forgot!! I’m going to see HP tomorrow night – so excited! Not only do I get to see a flick, but I’m also getting a full night off mum duties since the kids are having a sleep over at their grandparent’s house. Date night – woot! Now I just need to find somewhere nice to go for dinner…anyone any SE suburbs of Melbourne got a suggestion for me?
I’m off now to play in my gorgeous new handmade journal from my luvverly friend Miss Jaimie. It’s coptic bound and made of the most wonderful paper. I’m almost too scared to put paint on it! Almost…

Tell me, what are your absolute faves right now? I need to freshen up my playlist. I’m currently loving all things Adele, and also this fab one from Neon Trees. It’s the kinda song you have to sing too, and you can’t help but do a little chair dance when it comes on.
Ooh i can’t believe I haven’t shared this here yet!! I finally have my own art studio!! I decided to claim the garage and have been frantically setting it all up and getting it just right. I am in utter heaven. I’m having so much fun playing out there, and my 8yo joined me yesterday and completed her first ever art journal page – she did an amazing job and I am so proud of here! Excuse the shoddy pics – they’re from my phone lol
