Art Journalling–Crazy Love

Life is crazy around here lately, lots of sickies and I’m about ready to lose my mind! I haven’t been able to play in my journal for a few days and it’s killing me – but I have some older pages I’ve yet to share here, so I thought I’d pop in today and show my current fave.

I’m trying to get some design work done today, and I also need to sort out my garage as I have some furniture getting delivered and I need somewhere to put things lol Add that to a house full of sickies, a throbbing headache and innate laziness and I’m betting not much will get accomplished at all! Maybe I should just get artsy instead…

New goodies in store– fabric brooches!

FINALLY! I’ve managed some time to make some new goodies for my Etsy store. 

I've become a bit obsessed with brooches lately, especially fabric ones, so I thought I'd share some with you!
These have all been handmade by myself, using upcycled denim, cotton and vintage lace trim remnants, and feature vintage button centres. They all come complete with a silver tone brooch pin securely fitted to the back.

All are available in store now….but I’m sure that look much better at your place

Art Journalling - No Heart

My poor neglected little blog lol I’ve been busily working away at my digi business and have also been madly working in my art journal, which is what I’m here to share with you today.

I’m currently taking the 3 Hearts workshop by Christy Tomlinson and it rawks. My head is absolutely swimming with ideas and I can’t seem to work fast enough to get it all into my journal lol You should see my desk, it’s covered in post-it notes!

Anyway, here is just one of the pages I’ve I completed, and I will come back in a couple of days to share some more! Or, you could always check out my photostream over on Flickr. Not too many there just yet, but I’m working on it lol

That’s it from me for now – I want to try and get in some art time before the dinner, bed and bath routine kicks in.
